Ted’s recently completed body of work celebrates 40 years of pottery, each piece is symbolic and uses 4kgs of clay.
Self taught ceramic artist, Ted Secombe, commenced potting in 1979. This year at Open Studios in the Yarra Valley, Ted is opening his studio with an exhibition of works he has made specifically for this 40 year career span. There will be 40 works and each has 40Y etched alongside his signature on the base of the pot to commemorate this milestone. Come along and see Ted demonstrating work on the 12th or 13th of October.
